Breeder Consultations & Whelp Help
Whether you are a seasoned breeder, a new breeder, or a rescuer of a pregnant dog thrown into the whelping experience, I am here for you. I can be your life line in the middle of the night to calm your fears or let you know when it is time to go to the vet. There are many beneficial things that can be done during the momma to be's pregnancy to decrease potential emotional and behavioral problems in her puppies. The first 8 weeks after birth are critical to the puppies development and future behavior. The research shows that a pregnant animal that is petted and loved, produce more docile puppies. There are critical early interventions that can be done to increase the health, longevity, intelligence, and trainability of your puppies. Making sure that your pups will reach their full potential and reducing the chance of a return or a surrender.
Holistic Health & Functional Medicine
What is Holistic Medicine? Holistic medicine is a form of healing that considers the whole animal-- body, mind, spirit, and emotions -- in the quest for optimal health and wellness. Functional Medicine for dogs is a growing field. It is personalized medicine that deals with both preventing disease and correcting underlying causes for serious chronic disease (instead of just treating symptoms, which doesn’t address underlying causes). It is a science-based healthcare field based on the following principles, according to Functional Medicine veterinarian Dr. John Smith:

What I do: I help you to find a new holistic or functional medicine veterinarian. I can help you to request certain health testing from your regular veterinarian. Your regular veterinarian may not be aware of these tests. I teach you how to talk to your vet and be your pet's advocate, I can also support your dog nutritionally by formulating a whole foods diet for your dog and an exercise program.
